A Daegu stepfather has recently confessed to the murder of his adopted son. The 10 year old boy kept playing computer games and the stepfather became enraged that he would not listen to him and his demands for him to do his homework. The stepfather then beat and choked the boy to death. The man, hoping to cover his tracks, tied the boy’s hands together and drove him off on a motorbike to an orchard in Cheongdo, where he then proceeded to burn the body. The partially burned body was later discovered and police were able to identify the remains.
