Daegu police continue to do raids on establishments that are fronting for prostitution. Police have busted 221 people at 20 businesses throughout Suseong-gu, many of whom were working in mini-room salons (known as ‘Gumi-style noraebangs’, which are cheaper and quicker versions of traditional room salons), restaurants and massage parlors employing housewives and university students for the sex trade. Among the arrested were 92 johns.
